A workshop designed for family caregivers will offer information about Alzheimer’s disease and caregiving and will also provide an opportunity to reflect, regenerate, and gain a new perspective on your caregiving issues.
The workshop takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Dec. 8 at the Alzheimer’s Association, 2808 Palumbo Drive, Lexington. Registration is $10 and is required. The deadline is Dec. 1.
This training is designed specifically for family caregivers and is therefore not open to those who are professional caregivers.
Local and statewide experts who specialize in aging and Alzheimer’s care will present topics that are valuable to family caregivers of persons with dementia.
The workshop is jointly sponsored by the three longtime i know expo participants: UK Sanders Brown Center on Aging, Baptist Health Medical Group Neurology, and the Alzheimer’s Association.
