Learn a little something new at the Donovan Forum Series, offered by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Kentucky. The series starts Sept. 6 at the Lexington Senior Center.

Forum topics for September include:
Sept. 6: The Golden Age of Bourbon, Colleen Thomas, director of membership and public affairs, Kentucky Distillers’ Association.
Sept. 13: Horsemen of the Bluegrass, Yvonne Giles, director, The Isaac Scott Hathaway Museum.
Sept. 20: Coach Adolph Rupp: His Wit & Legacy, Donald R. Curtis, author.
Sept. 27: My Ancestral Kentucky Home: With James Sleet, Eli Scarr, documentary filmmaker.

The series takes place at 2 p.m., on Thursdays through Dec. 6 at the Lexington Senior Center, 195 Life Lane. There’s plenty of free parking and light refreshments will be served on the first Thursday of each month at 1:45 p.m.
