Mindful Moments, a 30-minute guided meditation session takes place at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Senior Citizens Center, 195 Life Lane, in the group fitness studio.

Regular meditation has been shown to improve symptoms of various physical ailments including anxiety, dementia, depression, insomnia, cardiovascular conditions, chronic pain, Parkinson’s, arthritis, asthma, IBS and more.
