Find out what Bluegrass Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living is talking about?

You can get your news from the newspaper or the TV, but there’s also an audio podcast available on line with the latest news about that’s taking place at area senior centers.
Called “Aging Adventures,” the monthly podcast features interviews with those involved at the senior centers and has all sort of other news of interest to seniors.

The November/December podcast, hosted by Lydia Jones, features news about the Christmas party on Dec. 12 at the Lexington Senior Citizen Center at the corner of Nicholasville Road and Alumni Drive. Lydia interviews Joy Paine who has been organizing the party for the past 28 years.
Also, Lydia gets a winter forecast from Berea-area resident Caroline Chadwick who says she heard wooly worms give the best weather predictions. This year the wooly worms are dark black, meaning the weather is going to be very cold and snowy this winter.

And Carlisle resident Caroline Sexton shares what she’s thankful for this Thanksgiving.
The podcast is available at http://ow.ly/EBgGG.

Tune in to see what’s going on in the area with the senior community.
