Get ready, get set, vote!

With Election Day only a few weeks away, it’s time to get to know all you can about the candidates before you head to the polls.

At AARP.org/YourVote, you can discover what Kentucky’s congressional candidates –incumbent Mitch McConnell and his opponent Alison Lundergan Grimes as well as incumbent Andy Barr and his opponent Elisabeth Jensen – think about issues. Also, you can find your polling place and about ID requirements set by Kentucky.

The guide also includes congressional candidates’ statements about Social Security, Medicare and financial security so people can live independently as they age.

Candidates had an opportunity to review what AARP researchers found regarding the politician’s public statements that addressed:

  • How they would protect Social Security for today’s seniors and strengthen it for future generations
  • How they would out Medicare on stronger financial ground and protect today’s seniors against rising medical costs
  • How they would help Americans save so they can secure their future and live independently as they age.

AARP is nonpartisan and does not endorse candidate or make contributions to them or to political parties.
