If you’re a caregiver living in a rural area and looking for support, this workshop could help.

An educational session focused on how to support our loved ones from a distance or from within the same home is being held at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, July 23 by the University of Kentucky Sanders-Brown Center on Aging and the Alzheimer’s Association.

This program is offered through an interactive telemedicine system to connect with persons who are impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and related memory disorders, providing education and supportive services across the state of Kentucky.

Discussion will include activities and strategies to stay engaged and connected.

Following the presentation there will be a general questions and answer session.

Please bring your questions about dementia, brain health, and care and treatment for your loved ones.

This event is free and open to the public.
