Three informative meetings are scheduled in September for the Lexington Area Parkinson’s Support Group. All meetings are held at Crestwood Christian Church, 1882 Bellefonte Drive.
* At 6 p.m., Wednesday, Sept., 4, Adina Cook will present an updated version of Parkinson’s Disease 101. If you’ve never attended a PD 101 class, this is your opportunity to hear Adina’s tips, suggestions and resources for those living with Parkinson’s Disease and their care partners.
Christi Stumbo-Reynolds, an Acadia Pharmaceutical rep, will provide dinner.
* At noon on Monday, Sept. 9, Dr. John T. Slevin, a Lexington neurologist, will present a program on movement disorder. Slevin will update the group on what’s new in Parkinson’s research and answering questions.
Lunch will be provided by Aarin Beckerle, a Medtronic rep.
* At noon Sept. 23, a brown bag discussion will be held. Drinks and snacks are provided.
