The Morning Pointe Foundation proudly presents “Seniors Got Talent” an annual talent competition showcasing local seniors across the area.

The second annual event takes place at 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 12 at the Lexington Opera House, 401 W. Short Street.

The Foundation’s mission is to provide nursing scholarships and serve caregivers across the southeast with educational and supportive programs.

“Seniors Got Talent” typically draws an audience of 200-300 as many families, friends and local musicians turn out to cheer on the local talent. Those participating are 62 or older with talent acts that last about three minutes.

Tickets are $22 and can be purchased at Lexingtonoperahouse.com or by calling (859) 233-3535.
