ITNBluegrass, an organization that provides dignified transportation for seniors and those who are visually impaired in Fayette and northern Jessamine County, is having an impact throughout the bluegrass.
In June, the local Independent Transportation Network, had 590 members and gave 858 rides. Soon, it will celebrate its 10th anniversary. Since its founding, and through June, it has given 76, 152 rides.
Want to learn more? At 1 p.m. on August 1, an ITNBluegrass representative will be at the Lexington Senior Center, 195 Life Lane, to talk about program and how you can be involved – whether to offer rides or get a ride.
