It’s time to get back to learning!
The “Now You Know” series of presentations is back at the Lexington Senior Citizen Center and will usually be held on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Tuesdays of each month.
The presentations will be available in person and on Zoom.
Contact Justin at 859-278-6072 or jhalvorson@lexingtonky.gov to sign up.
Limited capacity for the in person presentation.
Here’s information on two upcoming classes:
“Senior Scams: How to Protect Yourself” will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday July 13.
Seniors are often specifically targeted for identity theft, scams and abuse because criminals believe them to be an easier target.
FBI Special Agent Terry will be at the Lexington Senior Center to speak with you regarding current scams, questions to ask, and how to protect yourself when it comes to elder fraud and fraud in general.
“Aging in Place. Downsize. Simplify. Stay at Home” will take place at 10 a.m., July 27.
Perhaps moving may not be the best decision for you right now due to personal choice or financial considerations, and your current home no longer meets your
needs as well as it used to.
Staying put may be as simple as decluttering and organizing or repurposing a space for functionality and safety.
Whatever your needs may be, we will discuss ways to adapt your home for who you are NOW.
