Want to get some exercise but worried that trouble standing leaves you out?

Not at the Lexington Senior Center.

Active Aging is the name of the seated class being offered for those who cannot stand for extended periods.

The class is an “all-in-one” format and features essential types of exercise including cardio, strength, core and stretching.

Now available four times a week, the class takes place at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the Lexington Senior Center, 195 Life Lane.

It’s also a great class for those recovering from injury or surgery.
