The Next Best Years of Your Life can be the best years if you take the time and effort to recognize needs and seek answers.

In its 23rd year, The Next Best Years of Your Life Conference is an opportunity for citizens to meet, connect, share and learn.

It takes place from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Sept. 14 at the Fayette County Extension Office, 1140 Harry Sykes Way, Lexington. Deadline to register is Friday, Sept. 7.

Keynote speaker is former University of Kentucky Wildcat Cameron Mills, LHC Group Senior Management Liaison.

Attendees will learn how to cook healthy, eat to prevent Alzheimer’s disease, hear about the history of storytelling through quilting and learn if depression is a normal part of aging in addition to community resources.
