Don’t miss getting Alzheimer’s help for a loved one because you can’t leave home
When care giving responsibilities (or the weather) make it impossible to leave home to attend a local Alzheimer’s Association program in person, there’s help.
The Alzheimer’s Association Training and Education Center offers its classes on line.
In fact, a wealth of information and tips are available 24 hours a day through the Alzheimer’s Association website.
Simply go the web address, http://training.alz.org/home, click on a course title and learn the same materials taught in many of the classes.
Class titles include: “Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters,” “Legal an Financial Planning for Alzheimer’s Disease,” “Living with Alzheimer’s for Caregivers: Early Stage,” and Living with Alzheimer’s For Younger Onset Alzheimer’s.”
Some classes are for general information, some are for caregivers and some are for first responders.
And, the classes are offered in Spanish, too.
