Forum Series continues with programs on smart growth, reducing stress

The Donovan Forum Series starts this fall at 2 p.m., Sept. 7 at the Lexington Senior Center, 195 Life Lane

The series continues at 2 p.m. on Thursdays through Dec. 7.

Here’s what’s coming in September:

 

Sept. 7: Lexington’s Urban Services Boundary and Planning for Smart Growth, Susan Speckert, J.D. Executive Director, Fayette Alliance

Sept. 14: Mindfulness: Reducing Stress and Improving Quality of Life, Ruth Baer, Ph.D., Professor of Psychology, University of Kentucky

Sept. 21: The Arboretum: 26 Years and Growing, Molly Davis, Director, The Arboretum Sept. 28: CrimeSong: True Crime Stories from Southern Murder Ballads, Richard Underwood, W.L. Matthews Professor of Law, University of Kentucky

There’s plenty of free parking, and light refreshments are starting at 1:45 p.m.
