But, like many things during the pandemic, the tax filing deadline has been postponed.

The new tax filing deadline is July 15. Ahh, nearly three more months to file your taxes!

Fortunately, for some seniors there’s help.

Older adults that need assistance with tax preparation can use the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program.

Individuals who made $30,000 or less and families who made $54,000 in 2019 may be eligible for free tax preparation assistance through VITA.

Individuals with income under $69,000 in 2019 can also file their taxes for free.
