2021 marks the 10-year anniversary of Garrett Davis’ “Forget Me Not.”

This award-winning stage play highlights the African-American family and community experience with Alzheimer’s disease.

It is the mission of the “Forget Me Not” project to educate, via the performing arts, and bring awareness to this and other issues that affect the minority community.

In the spirit of that mission, the UK Sanders-Brown Center on Aging and its University of Kentucky partners, are teaming up with UsAgainstAlzheimer’s to host a free virtual community showing of the stage play, with a panel discussion to follow.

Please join us as we view the play and discuss the disease, caregiving challenges, and advances in Alzheimer’s and related dementia research.

You are invited to join us on Sunday, August 1st at 4 pm EDT, for this virtual community showing of the play, “Forget Me Not”, with a panel discussion to follow.
