Are you a current or retired professional musician?
If so, researchers at the University of Kentucky are inviting you to participate in a study to learn more about the mechanisms that support a musician’s ability to remain cognitively intact as they age. The study will take place during one session lasting approximately two hours. Participants will be tested on various cognitive domains and EEG signatures will also be recorded.
You will be compensated
You may be eligible to participate if you are:
- Over the age of 40;
- A musician who plays or has played in a philharmonic orchestra; and
- Not on any medication that could alter cognitive performance.
