Dementia Friendly Lexington held an incredibly successful event on October 26 in which restaurant staff at Ramsey’s at Zandale was training on how to be dementia friendly with customers who come to eat.
The training teaches staff how to make sure persons with dementia and their care partners feel supported, empowered and understood.
Business that undergo the training then receive a Dementia Friendly Lexington Designation.
Dementia Friendly Lexington is seeking volunteers interested in providing more businesses with training on dementia.
