Music therapist Austin Robinson will join the The Memory Café particpants on June 8.

The Memory Cafe is a social group of people who have Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia and their loved one(s).

The Memory Café provides an informal setting to socialize and interact with other families.

It encourages friendship and acceptance, and is held virtually during the current pandemic.

The Cafe will be held virtually from 2-3 p.m., on Monday, June 8th.

Austin Robinson earned his bachelor’s degree in music theory and composition from Eastern Kentucky University (2001) and his master’s in music therapy from the University of Kentucky (2015).

He is the owner and director of Edge Music Therapy LLC, a private practice music therapy provider in Lexington.

He provides services to many populations including children and adults with special needs, senior adults, and early childhood.
