Want to help with research?

The University of Kentucky College of Nursing is in need of volunteers to help with a new study.

The new research study explores the role of dietary antioxidants, chronic stress and inflammation in people with metabolic syndrome.

You may be eligible for the study if you live in the Lexington area and have at least three of the following criteria:

* High blood sugar

* Increased blood pressure

* Abnormal cholesterol

* Are overweight

Participants will receive a $20 gift card at the end of the study which includes a total of two visits to the University of Kentucky campus.
